Sizing: Here is how to find your arm sleeve size

It’s easy to find your arm sleeve size.

Follow our guide and you’ll be all set to order your LympheDIVAs arm sleeve!

How to measure for your arm sleeve

Grab a measuring tape, pen and paper and you’re all set!

Fold the measuring tape around your arm to the point of gentle tension.

Measure tight but not to the point where the tape leaves marks on your skin.

Write down the measures of the 4 points of importance:

  • Wrist
  • Forearm
  • Bicep and
  • Length

Write the measures down in centimeters.

Take these 4 measurements

Your wrist: Measure your wrist over the bone that points out

Your forearm: Measure your forearm where it has the largest circumference

Your bicep: Measure the fullest part of your bicep halfway between your elbow and armpit

Your length: Measure your arm length from right before the bone sticking out on the side of your wrist to shortly before your armpit.

Tip to finding your length: If your length measurement fits both the short and the long size, here’s a little help: The short sleeve might need more styling during the day if your measure is 42-43 cm, because the sleeve stops on the middle of your bicep. The long sleeve may give you a little extra fabric close to your armpit – which is preferred by women who feel a bit of discomfort from “homeless” nerves after their surgery. The long sleeve covers a larger area on the bicep and may relax the homeless nerves.

2 types of compression

The last thing you need to know and decide is which compression class to get your arm sleeve in.

The compression is the pressure that helps you send back the lymphedema fluid to the main part of your body.

The LympheDIVAs arm sleeves come in 2 different compression classes:

Class 1 (20-30 mmHg) – for you who has a mild lymphedema or you who wants to prevent having one

Class 2 (30-40 mmHg) – for you who has lymphedema and need more compression to control it

Measure every time you change your arm sleeve

We recommend that you take your measurements every time you change your arm sleeve.

Your lymphedema changes, and so does the size of your compression sleeve.
