The World ENDS the day you get diagnosed with breast cancer.
Everything STOPS.
What made sense yesterday – falls apart today.
You can probably remember everything from the day you were diagnosed.
Up until the doctor told you.
I can.
Who’s talking?
My name is Lotte Seheim.
I’m a breast cancer survivor, journalist and optimist.
I created Livja to make life better and easier for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
A road full of holes
The way through diagnosis, treatment and finding a new way in life after treatment
is full of holes and unknowns.
Little holes. Big holes. Black holes.
The feeling of despair and total lack of control.
I’m sure you know what I mean?
I sure know, because I fell into many of the holes.
I searched like crazy – trying to find info about my disease and finding the products to make my new life easier.
Though breast cancer is the most common cancer that happens to 1 out of 8 women, I felt alone.
My hope is that Livja can comfort you just a little and prevent you from falling into all the holes.
Life goes on
I survived. I made it through the diagnosis, the treatment and finding my breath again.
But life will never be the same.
Like you I was knocked off my feet and had to find a new way to be me.
And I had no idea how to do that!
Know what I mean?
I didn’t have a choice
Trust me – I know how frustrating it can be to find the right products.
I had just turned 40 when I had to get my first mastectomy bathing suit.
I was presented with 3 bathing suits.
All of them were kind of Grandma-like:
Dull colors and a kind of fashion that was for women a lot older than I was.
There’s nothing wrong with Grandma-models.
They just weren’t for me yet.
Heck no
That day in the dressing room I just sat there and cried. Because I didn’t have a choice.
Years later I decided to make a difference.
I created Livja – a universe for women who have or have had breast cancer.
I want you to have a choice and not have to go through the nightmare I did.
Livja – because one size doesn’t fit all.
You’re the one
All women deserve to have a choice.
Whether we’re 30, 45 or 70.
Full of quality, spark and joy.
Take back the control – it’s your life!
DO whatever makes you happy –
dress up if you feel like it.
Just be YOU.
Best regards
Lotte Seheim
